Wondered if anyone could recommend a book or other resource to learn the command line...I try my best to do as many tasks as possible via command line, but would love a learning tool to aid in that...end goal would be A) command line expertise and B) using that expertise in gaining certifications...any thoughts?
produces a man page wit hinformation on commands and their switches etc. a great way to learn the ins and outs of commands, also personally i write down a useful command (and put it on my site) like a quick reference guide for myself. there are thousands of links obtainable via google on the 'day to day' Linux commands. You can also try writing shell scripts for anything you can think of, and researching the commands you will need to achieve your goal.
