Well Tasha, you have to go into /etc/X11

X11]# pico XF86Config

then go down to the screen section and manually retype your mode setting to the new display you prefer... then do a CTRL+X and save teh changes...

so now i got a new problem, i went out and bought a new card cause my old one was shot to S*** (don't worry trickykid) i bought a 32MB PCI... looked real cool... then i get home to see linux doesn't support it, i was gettin stuff like... this screen does not support 16 bit with this driver, no screen found crap like that when i startx'd it.... so i'm takin it back on monday for a better brand, like ATI or Creative Labs. hopefully that'll be the end of my problems... but with my expierience w/ redhat so far... NOT BLOODY LIKELY

Of course, if there were no more problems, i wouldn't know what to do with myself... probly open my smut dir or somethin j/k

Well my old Voodoo 3 2000 is still hanging in there. I am thinking of putting in my Radeon card to see how it does.

I heard there was not any program to do video capture yet.

Any updates on that.
