resizing partitions


hi

I have ran out of space in my /usr partitions. can i resize it without afecting the contents. Is there any software which can help me to do this

The GNU program called parted should do all you need.

yeah use parted to add more space to your /usr directory.. or you may use the ext2resize, for more information about it, visit this site:

http://ext2resize.sourceforge.net/

NO problem

there is a software called Partition Magic Pro.
Get it and it will resize ur partitions without effecting your data.
It has a lot more features relating to your harddisk.
