Resizing ext3 partitions!

Hey,

I have Arch Linux installed on an Ext3 format partition and I want to resize it so that I can make a 5Gb NTFS or FAT32 partiiton, what is the easiest way to do this?

It needs to done while the disk is not in use ( not mounted ) . The easiest way to get that is boot up with a livecd.
Can you post the results of fdisk -l and show what you what you have in mind?

You can use:
1) Mandriva's DiskDrake;
2) GParted.

The first link in my signature can also help you resize ext2/ext3/reiserfs within Shell.

To do this either get the PCLInuxOS livecd http://www.pclinuxonline.com/pclos/index.html or get the first installation CD of Mandriva http://www.mandrivalinux.com
