Replacing a HD, will Lilo go away?

I currently have 2 hard drives, and I have my slackware installed part of my second drive. I am replacing that second drive so that I have more space, but I don't have a linux distro on it yet, and I want to know if my LILO (which I believe I installed into the MBR) will still stay there or if it will disappear and I will have to install it again.

Thanks in advance.

You will want to remove old drive, install new drive, boot from installation cd to install new Linux and reconfigure Lilo with whatever distro your installing with.
