Repairing a hard disk


lol.. both of my other posts were locked down lol..

so, if anyone knows how i might use DD to get a drive that has erroneous tables (not sure the exact name, some kind of tables that exist at the 'front' of th disk, how i might use DD to fix it.

If your drive is damaged then DD might not fix it. Here is some dd info.

dd is useful for copying data; if your filesystem is corrupted you probably want to run fsck
