Removed Second HD with Dual-Boot RH9/XP Box; Now Grub Won't Load

My Box had two HDs, a 120GB and a 40GB. The 40GB, the slave, was recently removed and a CDRW was installed in addition to my DVD Drive. Now, alas, if I turn on my computer, my BIOS displays it's splash screen, I get that lovely boot 'table' with various hardware values, and then "Loading Grub" appears at the bottom of my screen.

And then nothing. The screen goes black and stays black and I have no idea what's wrong.

I've got the 120GB segmented into a 90GB and 30GB Partitions, the latter containing the Red Hat Partition. Normally, it would boot into Grub with DOS as the default option.

So, I have one question, really. Where can I get a program that will let me create a floppy disked image that I can use to tweak Grub?, or perhaps remove Grub and replace it with Lilo?, or, just remove Grub altogether and replace it with my XP boot loader?

Any suggestions, ideas, anything, would be greatly appreciated.

Boot from your Windows XP CD, press R to open the recovery console and use the "fixboot" or "fixmbr" command to remove GRUB, then reboot. This should get windows running again, but you still need to install GRUB or LILO to get to Linux. I'm not sure how to do that though.

Hope this helps. Try it at your own risk.
