Remote Internet Access

I have done some searching in the forums but haven't really come up with anything, so maybe someone can help me. Is it possible to hook a modem up to linux so that a remote computer could call in via dialup and gain access to the internet? Sorta be a minature ISP? The linux box having dedicated internet access through a cable router.

If this is possible could someone point me in the right direction as to what to setup or place to gain documentation.

I think you could do this just like sharing a connection
through a ethernet.
On the box trying to connect add a route to all sites through
a gateway being the Box connected to the net, via the device
your using, in this case the modem.

just a thought.. tell us if it works...

If you just want a back door into your system via a dialup connection look at kermit
