Remote File Server
Hey guys, I'm still relatively new to this forum and linux, but here's my question.....
I would like to be able to access my files securely from a remote location. I travel alot and I would like to be able to access my files fro wherever I am. I would setup an ftp server but I hear FTP is very insecure. Is SSH an option? what other options are there, any reasons for one better than the other? If distro is an issue, I'm familiar with mandrake and suse Thanks for all your help macgyver007 |
ssh works using scp or sftp.
