This is quite odd question:
since you already have a setup running (thus also under control)..
anyway:
For servers, SSH is the default way to connect to the Linux machines, to do maintenance/setup/configurations etc.
Console based (like the cmd in windows).
And if there is a graphical desktop running on them (why in the world would one run that on a server? it's not needed, it takes huge amounts of resources, and introduces more bugs/exploits) you could configure VNC there, so you can connect through VNC to the linux machines. (be sure that your firewall is setup correctly though, otherwise everyone can connect :P. And vnc passwords are in plaintext tranfer, not encrypted by default. SSH is encrypted though.
