Redhat80 installation

Got a 3-cd Redhat80 with a computer-magazine in June and made an installation without any problems that day on an old 200MHz machine. Today as I try it on another machine it seems OK until the installation wants the second CD where it spews out that CD and gives the error message could not mount CD. Any ideas what could be the problem and what could be done about it? No visible damage on the second CD and it can be read on another machine.

Put in another CD-reader coded for "Cable Select" and at least now the second CD is accepted and its data being read OK
