redhat-logviewer change suid on it howto?

im a single user on this system with no one else gaining access to it without me being present.

currently the /usr/bin/redhat-logviewer is root only. everytime i click the hotlink in the main menu, or enter the direct line to it in CLI i am prompted for the root p/w.

in some of the other systems that is not an issue as it is a GREAT security to have by default.

its just a tad cumbersome at the house. i would like to know what steps i need to take to give my main user access to this file.

how do i make a user group, how do i put my user in that group, then how to i set that group permissions to access that file WITHOUT giving that user access to any other root only redhat-type GUI application.

thanks for the time and help.
