redhat-config-packages
Various KDE-based packages were removed from my system recently, and I've been trying to re-install various packages on this RH 8.0 system. In particular, I just installed the redhat-config-packages RPM, but when I try running it (from the Menu>System Settings>Packages icon), it gives the Error "Installation Tree Not Found -- The path None does not look like a valid installation source"". Does anyone know what this means, and how to fix it??
Thank you, cameron. |
The default package manager in Red Hat leaves alot to be desired. I suggest you get apt-get (It's been ported to RH now) as it is WAY better.
Go to http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net and follow the instructions. It will upgrade, and hopefully fix, your KDE problem. |
