Redhat & solaris on 1 disk


Hi
I plan to install solaris8 on the same disk running rh 8, r there any issues .. i read that there are probs with rh 6.2.. any sugestions ?

i've tried that before. i placed solaris in the beginning of the drive and installed redhat last. i use a boot disk to start RH.

Did u try to get grub boot the machine? Dint solaris cause any problems with the swap partition ?? i already have linux on the first partition .. wont it be enuf if we make a primary partiton ??
