OP is just frustrated that: this time,
when OP asked LQ'ers to do OP's job,
no LQ'er knew enough computer basics
to simply provide the correct answer:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=linux+full...tle%3Arecover*

+2 #7 + #12!!! #13 adds to the beacon of OP's history.

Edit added a whole day later:
My obscure wording of:
LQ'ers not knowing what a web search is
Was a backwards (sarcastic, which, yes, I shouldn't be doing) reference to OP's final words in #5 (about: NOT-smart and low ...).

Sorry for any confusion. (It was not LQ'ers whom I meant to insult)

I do think the web search link I provided
was a valid response to the OP's question.

No, the OP is just a troll that wants everyone else to do all the work for them, then expects everyone to read their mind and offer a solution. So why did you even bother to respond to this thread with your usual nonsense and gibberish when you don't understand yourself ? While the "no LQ'er knew enough computer basics" is not only complete nonsense and utterly insulting; how on earth do you expect anyone to provide proper answers based on no information from the OP ?? Grow up and post your nonsense and gibberish elsewhere.

In any case, the OP should be banned, or at the very least, this thread should be closed. Both linuly and "!!!" are now on my ignore list.

Seriously? Biting the hand that's trying to feed you. Strange strategy.

BTW, there is a forum article (probably more than one) in the LQ forums containing recommendations on good ways to post questions. Eric Raymond's and Rick Moen's post on the 'Net is also a good source of guidance.

HTH...

jsbjsb001,

there is no insult, only people who are something and are to be taken seriously could have the potential to insult. OTOH, if you are dealing with nobody (as in big nothing) then this individual cannot insult you more than a barking dog can insult a passing train.

@jsb: did you actually look at the link that !!! provided? It's simply a DDG search on the OP's original question. In other words, "go away and google it yourself". That seems to me to be a very good answer.

The OP clearly wasn't interested in doing any actual research of their own before coming here to ask a very vague and therefore pointless question, if they were going to do a web search in the first place (or even just read a guide for whatever software they used/planned on using - which we still don't know), they likely would not have posted here to begin with (or at least would have provided more info in their OP). "!!!" clearly didn't understand the fact that the OP was asked several times to provide proper info, and instead of doing that, they not only refused to provide any info that would have allowed us to give them a proper answer, they then started insulting other members.

So what is the bloody point in "!!!" telling them to do what they not only should have done in the first place, but also telling them to do something they clearly weren't going to therefore do anyway ?

They ("!!!") didn't even need to respond to this thread at all, as everyone else already had the thread well covered and didn't need any help.

In any case, that's all I'm going to say about it...
