recover user and home dir

Without thinking I removed a user (using kuser) since I was having trouble getting it to work right. With doing that I also deleted all the files in the home dir. Is there anyway of getting those files back? They are really important!

Regards

Is the home directory for the deleted user still on your system? It sounds like it is not. If it is not, don't do any file transactions on your system. You need a recovery utility like:

Good luck!
