recover deleted windows files from linux(help)

unfortunately i deleted some of my windows files from linux

what happened is tht "I mounted the windows partition to a folder in home directory
and deleted that folder" from rh9. the mounted portion was windows d drive, while deleteing the folders teh entire drive got erased, since d drive was mounted in one folder.??????

from win98 when i use recover4all (win98 software to recover files )and look into the windows d drive i can c the deleted files and teh recovery chance is showing good, though file name shows some signs.

it is very important as it is my collegues system
plese post comments and helpfull hints

Well does that program have an option such as "RECOVER FILE" or "RETRIEVE"? Yes, silly but making sure.
