Recommendations for per-incident paid support?

I need a company/firm recommended for per-incident support for Linux. I am an individual using RedHat 9.0, and RedHat's support does not seem to cover questions/incidents beyond installation anymore (though the pricey corporate support exists).

Linuxcare is no longer offering linux support, and I no of no local support companies in Dallas,Tx that I can take this problem to.

I would prefer to commicate over the phone and email for support, and I like the $50 per question model (or something similar).

Do you have any recommendations for a support company?

Shoot.. I'll take $50 bucks per question and answer them for ya.. ;)

Not sure of any service that offers this to tell you the truth. But you can always come to sites like this to ask your questions, sometimes faster than actual paid support services and always free.

Regards.

sold!!

sarcasm aside, and assuming you have cc payment collection abilities (or you trust me to send you a check), if you can solve my problem in:

- I will gladly pay $50. I've already contacted 3 support companies for a quote, and they haven't responded to my request yet. Redhat's $325 offer is too much for me.

If you can fix the problem, via phone or email, let me know. -Chris

If you haven't already noticed I started replying to your existing question. But to also mention I wouldn't take your money on this site. Only in some cases if someone does want to pay me for my answers I might provide, I'd prompt anyone to donate using affero so it goes back to this site and other great causes.

I did notice

I noticed, and thank you for your assistance. As a point of discussion, though, you should consider taking payment for your services in the future (everyone deserves compensation for honest work).

Personally, for future incidents beyond my ken (and the linuxquestions board), I now have a local contact in Dallas.
