Real Player for Mandrake Linux 10.0

Hello

I want a Real Player for my Linux. I am using Mandrake Linux 10.0 version. Could you tell me a place where I can download a free program of Real Player?

I know Real Player costs some money in Windows operating system. There should be an alternative Real Player for Linux too.

Your help is deeply appreciated. Some applications need a Real Player.

You can download it at the helixplayer website.

I thank reddazz and perfect_circle for their speedy attention for my question. I just downloaded the site mentioned by perfect_circle and installed. I am a bit puzzled by this. Do you know why? The Real Player is not a free program in Windows.

Is it free for Linux? Is it just a 30 day trial version? There is no mention about it on the website.

I will download even the Real Player suggested by reddazz and install.

If you read the link i posted you more carefully you would see this:

"What's Helix and why does it matter?
RealPlayer 10 for Linux is based on the open source Helix player. Interested in helping build the next version of RealPlayer for Linux? Go to Helix Community."

Linux Real Player code (open-sourced) and windows Real Player code have nothing in common. The Linux Real Player is based on helix player, which is written from scratch and is open source, and then RealNetworks used this Player as the Linux Real Player.

More or Less it's like Winamp adopting xmms as Winamp for Linux

Thank you very much, perfect-circle. I am glad we have people who know all the cons and pros of subject-matters. I am not an expert in Linux. I learn from your expert comments.
