read / recover data from linux RAID 1 partition

I have raidon sl3620-2s-lb2 running in RAID 1, but the hardware broken on Yesterday. I have already setup ubuntu 11 desktop and read the hard disk, it show the harddisk as "array". However, I'm unable to read the data due the the hard disk is not mounted. I try to mount the hard disk but unsucessful. For that reason,I have already bought another RAIDON NAS. I put the hard disk into this new hardware. But it also unsuccessful to read the data. Can you tell me how to recover the data.

When using hardware RAID, it is usually the case you need the same controller model to access an array. I would suggest contacting Raidon and verifying that the new NAS controller is compatible with arrays created on the old one. If not you will likely have to get a controller compatible with the model the array was created with.

Maybe you should try TestDisk and see if some harvest can be gained from that partition.
