ratpoison- where is the "default ratpoisonrc"?

I just installed ratpoison and want to tweak a few things. Will making a .ratpoisonrc in my home directory with only my tweaks completely screw things up? or will it just add my tweaks on top of what the "default" ratpoison is like? Where would the default (sample) ratpoisonrc be located?
