You would enable quota's for the /data directory or partition and chown each directory to set permissions, ownerships, etc. Is this a homework type question?

but what i have to do with linux and windows directory,,,

My group quotas and userquotas are working fine without touching those directories,,,

why i have been said to make /data/linux and /data/windows ,,, when i dnt touch those directories at all,,, they r just there as a usual directory,,,(of no use,,or i can delete them too)

Q.. why do i need these directories??

Appreciate ur reply

Sim
