Questions about gentoo

im thinking about switching from YDL to Gentoo, and i had some questions about it.

compared to Debian, how hard/involved is the install process?

does Gentoo Support the ATI 7500 mobility graphics card?

What window managers are available through Gentoo?

i heard that gentoo is switching from XFree86 to Xorg X11, does Xorg support PPC, and what are the main differences between them.

thanks in advance

1) the installation process is long but well-documented. Print off the gentoo handbook installation instructions before you start installing anything and you should be fine

2) gentoo supports all ati cards that are supported by ati's linux drivers

3) gnome, kde, blackbox, XFCE, .....

4) xorg-x11 is currently marked unstable for PPC. (ie. yes, it will support PPC)
