Question: alsa with 2 kernel

I have compiled a 2.4.23 kernel with pre-emp & low-latency path and work (not so fine). Then i have compiled the alsa driver etc etc and work. Now i 've the problem that the old kernel haven't the alsa working. So my question is how can i make alsa working with 2 different kernel?
(sorry for my english)
thanks

Well your english is not so bad considering the fact that you come from.... no where !!

I had the same kind of problem and couldn't get it to work without recompiling..

Maybe an idea would be to modify the make file to change the output's name and create 2 modules ???

the no where is ....
....italy.
After the suspence, what do you mean change the make output? I read the makefile but i don't understand where i can change something; maybe you mean to use a option with the make?

I've solved the problem simply compiling in another folder the alsa for the old kernel and now i've sound for the 2 kernel, but also i' ve 2 alsa-driver intalled. It's not so cleany, but it work's. I f anyone have idea to solve better the problem is welcome.
