I just switched from Mandrake Linux back to Windows 98SE (not that I don’t like Linux mind you, its just for the learning experience, and I’d like to dual boot). Anyway, I noticed that the Windows 98 CD doesn’t have as many programs as my restore disk had. So Id like to set my computer back to the way it was when I first bought it (if that’s possible).
Problem is, when I try to run the restore disk a screen pops up saying that I need to contact the dealer.
Does anyone know what I need to do to get my restore disk to work properly?

Also, since I installed Windows using the 98 OEM im having a problem with my monitor not offering the color options I had before. Its only offering 16 colors available.

If anyone has a clue as to what I need to do, PLEASE feel free to shed some light for me. I promise you’re words of enlightenment wont go unappreciated. ;o)
