OpenSSL Virus.


Currrently, my Redhat 7.1 is using (openssl 0.9.6-9).
Do i need to upgrade or patch ?? how ?

pls advise..

It's usually good to update software. SSL rpm is at version 0.9.6-13 now. Upgrade tru the Red Hat Network using (/usr/sbin/)up2date. To determine if SSL version is vulnerable, visit http://isc.incidents.org/ and read the "Slapper" docs on the right. Also look at other applications that have been built providing SSL/TLS (esp. static binaries).
