question about history file on several konsole?


hi...

i'm using mandrake8.1

when i open several konsoles..
even though same user use the konsoles,
bash stores history in seperate history files.

how do i make one user to have just one history file?

thank you..

bash uses just teh one bash_history file, but it's not committed until each bash session changes. if you run two terminals and close them both, start a new one you'll see the histories of both, in the order which you closed them in.
