well i've done "make"

then tried installing xqf. ./configure , and i get an error "qstat is needed"

there's something missing here, and the install.txt file is too vague for this newb

thanks

here's what i get when i do a " make"

===
root@rotgut:/usr/src/qstat/qstat25c# make
cc -g -Dsysconfdir=\"/etc\" -c -o qstat.o qstat.c
cc -g -Dsysconfdir=\"/etc\" -c -o config.o config.c
cc -g -Dsysconfdir=\"/etc\" -c -o hcache.o hcache.c
cc -g -Dsysconfdir=\"/etc\" -c -o template.o template.c
cc qstat.o config.o hcache.o template.o -o qstat
=====

then i goto to my xqf dir to configure and get this:

*** QStat is *required* to run XQF
*** Get it from http://qstat.org/
*** and put it in your path

i download'd Make at GNU, thinkin maybe i missed somethin, but same thing.

Put Qstat in /bin/

then
" ./configure --with-qstat=/bin/qstat" according to the configure --help command, you need to specify where exactly qstat is.
