Qilinux 1.2


I am trying QILINUX i have tried the live version and installed to hd. i can not connect to internet. it detects my onboard lan card wich is connected to my mtorola cable modem but it does not show up under KDE config or any place i look.what do iuse under KDE to set this up. thanks for any help.

Hi. I've tried qilinux as well. I did not experience any trouble with internet. Unfortunately, I've installed another in its place so I cannot look for you.

I did like the install. I thought it was very smooth and slick. They advertise nvidia drivers included in the install - I wasn't so lucky. Everything worked pretty good for me out of the box otherwise. Unfortunately, there is next to nil support for the distro. It could be terrific. The distro had a polished or professional feel and appearance to it. If they ever get the nvidia thing straightened out and add more software packages, I would love to use it.
