Q about Postfix

I fiannly have this setup and running localy, but when trying to test it i can only send to it. it is not forwarding anything to the users.

my laptop runs RH9 and that is were i have postfix running.

using my desktop running winXP (its my gaming box) i configured the pop and smtp as follows:

pop3 = current e-mail host pop server
smtp = IP of my laptop in this case 192.168.2.109

with authentication set to my pop3 server for sending e-mail, and a proper e-mail for my laptop i can send and receive e-mail from my normal host, but can only send to my laptop.

via webmin i can get to the mailboxes of postfix and verify that it is recieving the e-mail i am sending.

how do i get it to send e-mail back out, or is that something i will have to wait until i get DNS up and running and get it pointed to my finaly postfix server?

to test i would love to be able to setup a LAN only postfix server so i could get more comfortable with it before i go live WAN side with it.

thaks for the help.

fyi its basicaly only a default install with only real changes were in the host name of my laptop from the default setting of

localhost.localdomain

changed that to

raylap.test.local

outside of that, nothing has been changed in its basic configuration.
