ps3 and YDL seeking aid
 

by the way when it loads it says no VRS found right befor it makes my tv go weird

I downloaded YDL from their web site today and burned the iso with nero. i then did a quick format and did install other os. is went through the process and then i restarted. what happenes i see the boot screen it starts loading and then my screen does crazy after 20 seconds or so like it is pushing an unsupported res through my componet cables. i have componet hook up and my tv only does 480. what do i need to do to fix this and where is the issue at. Bad burn? bad download?

In the install guide it says it supports conponet cables during the GUI install. if there is no way to fix this and it happenes to be because it doesnt support 480p and i have to do a text install. will YDL look bad at 480p or will i be fine.

You should try the text install to get the system working, then configure the X server for your tv. Flat panel TV's don't always report the correct info so the installer doesn't know how to drive them. If you can get it working in a basic text only mode, then you can experiment.
