program to indentify graphics card

i recently aquired an old pII 233. i have installed and configured debian 2.2 but the only problem is that i dont now how much memory my graphics card has as it came with no manuals and all that is written on the card is that it is made by creative.

are there any programs that can 'probe' a graphics card to see how much memory it has?

cheers

Superprobe should help. It's probably included in your distro. Here's a little info from xfree86.org.

i looked at superprobe but it only detects the graphics chip set and not the amount of memory on board.

Yeah, the memory detection doesn't work on all cards; yours must be one of the lucky ones.
