processor working using SMP or simple kernel???


if i boot the simple kernel rather than booting the SMP kernel for dual processor machine......will other process will help in performaing the tasks???
remember that SMP is for dual processor but if not booted then wt the second procces will do .just stay idle??
folowing is the info while using the simple kernel
