Exclamation Process/job id printing/notification?!

Alright, this is something that's bugging me and I'm not sure why. I'm using tcsh, and whenever I start a program in the background, it does me a favor and prints out the process id and job number in the xterm. And then when it's finished, it let's me know it's done. Is there ANY way to disable this type of notification?? Thanks!

Justin
