/proc/cpuinfo

Is there any way to either hide the output of /proc/cpuinfo or to change the output of /proc/cpuinfo?

Thanks.

you could "chmod o-r /proc/cpuinfo" I suppose, but I've no idea what further ramifications there could be in doing that.
