Here I am locked in this basement having to program for pizza. My only source of entertainment is the measly stack of audio cds I have scattered around the room.

But, alas, I cannot get them to play under red hat 9. They play under xp fine.

Using Grip, the cd and titles are all shown, it looks like the cd is playing but there is no sound at all. When using the Sound Driver Config tool, it does play the sample (.wav ?) file fine.

I am not familar with configuring sound drivers at ll under linux. Could any kind soul point me in the right direction so I can try to fix this problem quickly? Thanks.
