problems with installing suse 10.2 on HP Compaq machine

hi everyone,
i am trying to install suse 10.2 on a new computer

the computer is HP Compaq, processor is AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+, 2.40 ghz

there is 64bit Vista on the first partition..using vistas disk manager i have created a new partition. Then I downloaded a x86_64 version of Suse 10.2 DVD. I bootet my computer with Suse DVD in it, i startet the install screen asked me to place the first disc. Then appeared this error message "unable to mount"

i have tried 3 different dvds..nothing has changed. md5sum should not a problem as 2 of the dvds were originals. and i checked the other one.

any help would be great..
thanks

This might be too obvious, but did you use the "Burn disk image" option when you made the DVD? You can't just copy the files.

If this is not the problem, is the disk actually booting? Do you get to any sort of menu?
