Question problems with gallery

hey, i just set up an old machine with gnump3d and gallery. Now, the machine has one 10 gig HD mounted as / and one 160 gig HD mounted as /mnt/hd2/ . Gnump3d I set to look in the /mnt/hd2 directory and it is working fine. Now gallery, it is looking for the the pics in /mnt/hd2/pics, and sure enough they are there. But, to display them it looks in http://localhost/albums. Gallery normally puts the pics in /var/www/albums, in which case appache uploads/makes available that data. Now that the pics are in a different location gallery cannot find them. I am newb and am thinking of using symbolic links or something... but i don't know what to do. Any help is appreciated.

Armon,

Update your httpd.conf file! you may change your document root or can create a virtual host. for more detail, you can see www.apacheref.com/.

Thanks, Kirtimaan
