Problems with file permissions

This may tie in with my previous post about wine... I can't change the file permissions for my /media/Windows folder. I can only change it when the drive is unmounted, but as soon as I mount the drive it makes it so nobody but root can write to the windows hard drive. I think it may be part of the reason why I can't get wine to work right, but that isn't the only reason why I want to give others on my system permission to right to that hard drive.
I am using SuSE 7.3 if that helps any to know.

assuming that's a windows drive you got there, you want to change the umask for it when you mount it, ususaly in /etc/fstab. just set umask=000 in the options for the drive
