Unhappy problems making CONFIG_4KSTACKS disabled while installing Fedora

I tried to make CONFIG_4KSTACKS disabled while installing Fedora Core 4. (default: CONFIG_4KSTACKS=y)

I am very new to linux so that I am not sure that I type right command as below.

linux CONFIG_4KSTACKS=n

However, it does not work.
The .config file stll shows "CONFIG_4KSTACKS=y".

It would be useful if you give me some ideas to solve this problem.

Any help at all is deeply appreciated.
