hi all...
i'm hosting a linux server (despite the fact that i know next to nothing about linux) but anyway,i have this prob:

when my hosts tried to connect to the server via ftp, they couldnt!!Sometime they could (after a hundred tries or so),and they took a long time to log on. Why is this..??

Hostname lookup failure(s). Change the order of lookups in /etc/nsswitch.conf, line "hosts: dns files" to "hosts: files dns"
