Problems installing Windows XP over Linspire 5.0

I'm having some trouble installing Windows XP over Linspire 5.0. Every time I put in the windows disk a screen comes up which says "Microsoft Windows CD found. The software on this cd isn't compatible with Linspire." I would appreciate all the help i can get.

If you want to install Windows and get rid of everything else on your computer, you need to do two things.

1. Set the boot sequence in BIOS so that it tries booting from your CD drive before your hard drive.
2. Reboot your computer with the Windows installation CD in the CD drive. It will take over from there.

if you want both Windows and Linux you always install Windows first.
