Question Problems booting to windows

I got Slackware 9.1 installed on hda2 (hda1 is swap and hda3 is my /home) and it boots fine

I then put windows XP on hdb1 (it boot the first time, then I had some troble, but I soon fixed it by editing lilo.conf) but now when I select Windows XP from LiLo it says loading windows Xp but nothing happens I then have to reboot. and now linux cant read from the drive (hdb), it says: "Could not enter directory /mnt/windows" why wont it load windows?

since this happend after fixing my Lilo ill post it here
Code:
# LILO configuration file
# generated by 'liloconfig'
#
# Start LILO global section
append="hdd=ide-scsi"
boot = /dev/hda
#compact # faster, but won't work on all systems.
prompt
timeout = 50
# Normal VGA console
vga = normal

# ramdisk = 0     # paranoia setting
# End LILO global section
# Linux bootable partition config begins
image = /boot/vmlinuz
  root = /dev/hda2
  label = Slackware9.1
  read-only # Non-UMSDOS filesystems should be mounted read-only for checking
# Linux bootable partition config ends

other = /dev/hdb1
