Problems accesing Gnome via remote terminal

Hi.

I've got a PC (with FC2) without monitor (and started with runlevel 3), and
would like to acces its GNOME through remote terminal.

So:
[root@local_pc] # xhost +remote_pc
[root@local_pc] # ssh remote_pc
[root@remote_pc] # su user
[user@pc_remoto] $ gnome-session -display local_pc:0.0 &

And I get this error:
---------------------------------------
X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
The application 'gnome-session' lost its connection to the display
localhost:10.0;
most likely the X server was shut down or you killed/destroyed
the application.
---------------------------------------

If:
[user@remote_pc] $ startx -display local_pc:0.0 &
I get:
------------------------------
Fatal server error:
PAM authentication failed, cannot start X server.
Perhaps you do not have console ownership?
------------------------------

But with:
[user@remote_pc] $ xterm -display local_pc:0.0 &
I get no errors.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong due to concept errors. Any
suggestion? Thank you veru much.

you can't start X by ssh. what you can do with ssh though i run a remote application on an existing local X server.

if you want to see X, the full X, and nothing but the X (well... and Gnome...) then you want to get XDMCP running on the remote machine. then locally you can run "X --query remotemachineip" (or somethign very similar - see xdmcp howto at tldp.org) and you should then get a lovely graphical login, and then a full blown X session running exactly like it would do locally.

I've got XDMCP running on my server (and properly configured, I suppose). What must I do to run my X client?

I get this error:
[root@local_pc]# X -query remote_pc
------------------------------------
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
------------------------------------
