Problem with knoppix and xp
Hello,
I begin to use Knoppix two days ago and i writted this command :
mount -o remount,rw /mnt/sda1
result -> now i cant get to into xp
(sda1 is the partition NTFS of xp)
The problem came when i restarted my pc, then i tried to enter in xp and i didnt can. I have tried run the xp with many methods (disquette, xp cd: install, and repair) but nothing .... the xp says that i havent HD.
But the HD is there because from Knoppix i can to mount a partition of the 2 that i have (sda5), that partition sda5 too is NTFS. But now Knoppix cant mount sda1 neither.
Somebody can say me how to solve this problem?
Note1 : Now when i try (from Knoppix) enter in that partition, sda1 (where is xp) i get the next error:
"Could not device.
The reported error was:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock
on dev/sda1,
or too many mounted file system"
Note 2: fstab file
/proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/sys /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
/dev/pts /dev/pts devpts mode=0622 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/auto/floppy auto user,noauto,exec,umask=000 0 0
/dev/cdrom /mnt/auto/cdrom auto user,noauto,exec,ro 0 0
/dev/cdrom1 /mnt/auto/cdrom1 auto users,noauto,exec,ro 0 0
/dev/cdrom2 /mnt/auto/cdrom2 auto users,noauto,exec,ro 0 0
# Added by KNOPPIX
/dev/sda1 /mnt/sda1 ntfs noauto,users,exec,ro,umask=000,uid=knoppix,gid=knoppix 0 0
# Added by KNOPPIX
/dev/sda5 /mnt/sda5 ntfs noauto,users,exec,ro,umask=000,uid=knoppix,gid=knoppix 0 0
Pls, i need some help. And sorry for my english.
