Problem with free space on my server.

Hello everyone.
I have a question that probably was answered before, but I could not find any threads through search. So, approximately one month ago I started to notice that available space on my Fedora2 server is dwindling rather fast. First it was around 85% for a while, but then fell to 15% in one week or so. Now it is floating around 10% and can change (plus or minus) by couple of percentage points per hour.
I find it really strange, but I can not fix it because I do not even know where I should start looking for a cause of this problem. Here is what get when I run [root@blahBlah /]# dir --human-readable -S –s

total 257K
156K dev 12K sbin 4.0K lib 4.0K root 4.0K var
16K lost+found 4.0K bin 4.0K misc 4.0K selinux 1.0K boot
12K aquota.user 4.0K home 4.0K mnt 4.0K tmp 0 proc
12K etc 4.0K initrd 4.0K opt 4.0K usr 0 sys

I should probably say that my HD is 60GB and I am almost positive that all websites that I host on this server do not take more then 10GB of space.
help.
please.

they way *I* usually end up looking for used space is to go to / and run "du -h --max-depth=1" this will then show all uses for one level only, so you can narrow it down to one directory. then change to that directory and do it again.... and again... until you really find something to point at and attend to.

Thanks much. It helped. And guess what, I found 45GB of stuff stored in my /var/tmp folder by apache. Movies, games, porn…
Do you have any idea haw can I prevent it happening in future? Where the hole in my security might be?
Thanks again.
