Problem in writing to serial port.

Hi all,

I have a development board attached to my host machine through RS232.
I am able to read data from the serial port( development board ) but I am not able write data to the development board. I tried with minicom and gkterm, cutecom but same issue.

The bizarre thing is, it is working perfectly in windows( hypercom ) but I need it in Linux.

Any suggestions will be very helpful.

Does your cable support the DCD line? In the *nix world, DCD is expected to be implemented, but Windows happily ignores it.
