Problem in Logging into GNOME in Novell Linux Desktop 9.0 ..
 

I m working on Novell Linux Desktop 9.0 & not able to log into the GNOME Desktop . KDE 's working well.
In the Login screen , on choosing GNOME a roaring sound starts indefinitely with no error message. M not possible to log into as ROOT also.
Is there any problem with login scripts ? If s , how to find & solve it ??
Any packages need to be installed in YAST ??
