problem in command shutdown
 
hello every body

what's different between shutdown -f now & shutdown -F now
and what's mean option -H & -p ??

From the man page:

Quote:

-f Skip fsck on reboot.

-F Force fsck on reboot.
Quote:

-h Halt or power off after shutdown.

-H Modifier to the -h flag. Halt action is to halt or drop into boot monitor on systems that sup‐
port it. Must be used with the -h flag.

-P Halt action is to turn off the power.
Please try man command on a konsole next time.
