Printing of Java Applets

Hello,

I have a webpage containing Java Applets, also, I am using firefox. Im trying to do any of these 3 things:
1)print this page using the browser's print button to print to a physical printer.
2)print this page to a file OR convert it to postscript.
3)print this page to a file OR convert it to pdf.

For some reason, I am having problems getting the applets to print out. Do I need a special print driver to handle printing of java applets, either to a file or physical printout? Or does anyone know of any softwares out there for linux that can convert html pages containing java applets to postscript or pdf files?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I think you double posted this, but besides taking a screenshot of the page, consider doing some Google reading:

What you can do is :
1- for the 1st question see the second
2 - You can print a file or a applet component using the javax.print API. You have to implement the printable interface. Once you do it, you show a print dialog.
3- I had to convert postscript files to PDF. I could not get the ADOBE PDF to convert postscript file using the java print api. I used ps2pdf and Acrobat distiller launching process in java.
To pirnt the page to a file i suppose you can also use the java print API(Have a look at the javadocs). There are also many examples on the net.
